------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Jan 11 06:17:12 -0800 2007 ------- See attached screenshot... Steps to recreate... 1. Create a spreadsheet for the purpose of using it as a datasource for a mailmerge 2. 1st row put your field names in, second row put only numbers in some of the fields, put text in the rest of the fields 3. Save the spreadsheet and make it a datasource 4. click on "View>Datasources" and navigate to Sheet1 of the datasource you just created You will notice that the columns in the datasource that start with a number will not display or merge any text that follows in any of the other records. There does not seem to be any easy solution to remedy this problem. Inserting a new column in your spreadsheet and formatting all the cells as text and then re-enter the field information and then refresh the datasource will work. The best work around seems to be to select the entire spreadsheet and format all the cells as text before you begin to input your field names and records. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
