------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Jan 13 13:13:36 -0800
2007 -------
1: Open Calc.
2: Create "/tmp/test0.ods", enter "Text" in A1, save, close.
3: Create "/tmp/test1.ods", enter "/tmp/test0.ods" in B1 and
   "=DDE("soffice";B1;"Sheet1.A1")" in A1, save, close.
4: Create "/tmp/test2.ods", enter "/tmp/test1.ods" in B1 and
   "=DDE("soffice";B1;"Sheet1.A1")" in A1, save, close.
5: Open "test2.ods". OOo asks whether links should be updated. Say Yes.
6: Close "test2.ods" via File->Close. OOo asks whether links in "test2.ods"
   should be updated. Say Yes. OOo closes the file.
7: File->Exit.

Expected:
8: OOo exits normally.

Actual:
8: OOo opens "test1.ods" and "test0.ods" and asks to save them. This is
   particularly unexpected as the type of update specified in "File->Links"
   is "Automatic" for all links.
