------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Jan 14 21:34:43 -0800 2007 ------- a user in a network I administer reported the following problem: when pasting parts of web pages into a Writer document and then editing it (she mentioned removing images and changing text size), all ooo windows freeze and do not come back in an acceptable time frame (resulting in the application being killed). Environment: openoffice.org 2.0.2 on ubuntu 6.06 x86 Desktop install, AMD Sempron and 512 MB RAM I was not able to determine whether the visible images, spacer gifs or other parts of the webpage were the most problematic.I would expect ooo to load this stuff in the background and give up after a short timeout in favor of deniyng the user interactivity.
