------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Jan 15 04:05:10 -0800 2007 ------- Nonprinting characters should be greyed out. At least it should be possible that they are displayed not in the text color but more transparent. Why? At the moment i only can choose between one devil - i do not see the nonprinting characters - and another devil - i see nonprinting characters but they clutter up my visual layout. With greyed out nonprinting characters i could see my layout AND know what really happens. This is a real issue when i have OOo Trainings: Everyone ( at least me and the chiefs ;-) want users to learn intelligent formatting (use tabs, not spaces and so on), so users should switch ON nonprinting charscters. In the real world most users do not switch on nonprinting characters, because then they cannot see their final layout anymore. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
