The same spreadsheets work fine and save fine 98% of the time. I've had the problem with several different spreadsheets. All of them have on the order of 10 sheets, with most sheets having 10,000 or so cells, most of which are (fairly simple) formulas. There are typically a few charts on each page, mostly scatter graphs or line graphs.
