Have tried the message board but no response so figure I try here.

Background:
Have used Star Office since 6.0 and am casual user, learning to do more over
time.
Have had Star Office 8.0 and installed up to patch #2

At this point I could open the control on a list box (not attached to any
database)and enter list entries in List entries by typing in lets say 26,
closing the list, and then open it again and it would be cued to the next line
for the next list entry. Once out of design mode, I would have multiple
selections to choose from which I would use in text documents I made for
estimates and customer use sheets without having to use a database for simple
fill in items.

Updated to patch 5 (I have no idea what happened to 3 and 4...lol).
I was no unable to do such entries.
It would allow only one entry and to boot, default entry was negated, as in , if
I put one in it did not matter as it will not show up.
I tried "36";"25" which is the was it is written in the older version and it
still shows one line, not a multiple listing.

So...un-installed patch 5.....back to being able to manually enter the list.

So---downloaded OO2.1 to see what happens there.
Same thing, not able to manually enter list entries.

Soooooooo.....where is the bug?
In Star Office 8.2
Or Star Office 8.5 / Open Office 2.1

I certainly can not see why one could not enter a list manually.

Just looking for some help before I put in a lot of wasted database table space
for silly little lists I need.

Thanks,
Bob
