To get things straight: Printing of left AND right pages on only ONE sheet is
indeed not supported at this time and could be a suggestion.

Printing of left AND right pages in one PDF works:
Step1: Use the menu: Format > Page. 
  Under the [Page] Tab choose in the section --Layout Settings --
  Under Page Layout: Mirrored
Step2: The section --Margins-- is changing now from Left/Right margins into 
  Inner and Outer Margins.
  Changing these settings makes mirrored margins.
Step3: [Header] and [footer] tab
     Check Header and/or footer on
     Uncheck same content left/right 
     Input on the page different left and right margins
Step4: Export as PDF
     Under the tab [Initial View] choose option (o) continuous facing to see the
pages facing each other (no printing side effect however only initial view 
setting)

Perhaps you could change the issue title into 
   "Print left and right pages in only one PDF Page"
