I still can't get it to crash. I suspect there is some corruption in autotext files. To troubleshoot this please do the following: 1. Close quickstarter. 2. Move (do not delete) all files out of "c:\Program Files\OOo-dev 2.2 \share\autotext\en-US\" somewhere (say c:\share). 3. Move all files from "c:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\OOo-dev2\user\autotext\" somewhere else (c:\user, for example). 4. Start Writer, open Autotext, create new entry and try renaming it.
