OOo crashes Catia V5 3D CAD/CAM application

Steps to reproduce:

I open a Catia V5 CATpart.
Copy the model to the clipboard, or do some other memory intensive work.
Open a OOo writer or impress file (tried no other document) and do a few clicks.
Switching the focus back to the catia window sometimes crashes catia
immediately, sometimes i had to copy the model to the clipboard again to crash
catia.

This only happens with OOo opend. No other application installed can produce
this behavior, so I think this is a bug in OOo. This happens with OOo 1.1.5,
2.0.4 and 2.1 (tried no other version). Catia crashes with no error and no error
is written to the logfiles.

It is nessecary to switch between catia and OOo to do the documentation of the
catia model. Because of this bug the use of OOo is not possible on a catia
workstation.

I tried out two different Dell Precision Notebooks M70 and M65 with 2GB of RAM.
The crash also happens in a vmware virtual machine on another hardware.

I tried to play with the memory settings in the OOo options with no success.
Also tried to enable/disable the OpenGL Options and Dithering.

How can I help to localize this problem?

Bye
