Here is my test sequence: 1) Launch OOo by double-clicking on an ODT file. 2) View a different application while I am waiting for OOo. 3) The OOo initial splash screen forces its way "on top". 4) Click anywhere in my current app to force OOO to the back. 5) At the first appearance of the OOo empty GUI, OOo comes on top. 6) Click anywhere in my current app to force OOO to the back. 7) At the first appearance of the ODT file in the GUI, OOo comes on top. OOo is now fully loaded, and behaves normally. I can live with three attempts to come on top. Previously, OOo forced its way to the top 7 or 8 times, depending on the size of the ODT file being launched.
