------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Jan 29 17:52:53 -0800 2007 ------- I need to move User's home drive/directory because we are on a Local network and we have a server for User's data. I found that bootstrap.ini can be edited to do that so I changed: <UserInstallation=$SYSUSERCONFIG/OpenOffice.org2> to <UserInstallation=t:/$username/System%20files/OpenOffice.org2> OpenOffice.org worked fine but Java wasn't enabled. Actually, I tried to enable it manually via Options menu and browse for the directory where Java is installed. OOo found "Sun Microsystems Inc. 1.5.0_10". I accepted the changes, went again to Options menu and Java wasn't enabled, just as if I didn't make any change at all. I did another change to check where is the problem. I changed the directory but not the drive: UserInstallation=$SYSUSERCONFIG/$username OpenOffice.org worked fine WITH Java enabled. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
