I am familiar with open-office, but not intimate with all of it's details.

Somehow I managed to activate the "function list" panel.

Then I tried to turn it off, and my problems began.

The panel has no title, so I had no idea what the thing was called, so I could
not search in help.
There is no "close" button or anything else similar.
I looked in the "view" menu as the logical place to activate or deactivate a
major piece of UI.
Nothing.

I looked in "Tools" and "Options" and "Data" and "Window" and "File" as possible
secondary locations.

It did not occur to me that the relevant menu item would be found in the
"Insert" menu!!
Which simply does not make sense.

Suggestions:
Give it a title and a close button.
Move the "Function List" menu item to the "View" menu.
