There is a problem with DictOOo on my machine, but switching dictionaries was no problem. I believe this is a problem with the DictOOo application/script and, had I been able to run DictOOo properly, I might have been able to check. DictOOo on the Intel Mac was cut off/obscured and I was unable to use it properly. Checking on PPC iMac G5 yields no problems, with Dict OOo or using a new dictionary.
