When I do the following steps, the Open Office Writer crash:

1. Start the Writer or create a new Document (is not important, I can use an
existing document too).

2. Insert the following text:
http://www.step.acr/person/My%20Web%20Pages/vusz/vusz1.htm

3. Press Enter - the text will be formatted as a link - this is important.

4. File/Save as

5. Choose the file type: Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP

6. Enter a file name.

7. Press OK -> an Error occurs and the Writer is stopped.

The error can be still repeated, after computer new start too.
Another links, such as http://www.step.acr/person/ brings no error.
I suppose, the % character can be the reason.
Also save as an another file type brings no error.

I have the build 2.0.4-38.
