------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Feb 3 20:02:15 +0000 2007 ------- I'd like to print documents from the command line, but I don't want to startup an X11 server for this task. But the "soffice" program does not start up without an X Server to connect to, as is demonstrated by the following commandline: [EMAIL PROTECTED] /tmp]$ DISPLAY= soffice -headless -p test.doc /opt/openoffice.org2.1/program/soffice.bin X11 error: Can't open display: Set DISPLAY environment variable, use -display option or check permissions of your X-Server (See "man X" resp. "man xhost" for details) (Note, that I have explicitely unset the DISPLAY variable, so openoffice does not find my X11). If soffice can connect to my X Server printing works just fine. So it's not the printing that's currently broken, but the fact, that openoffice is not able to startup without X11, even if it does not do any graphical operations. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
