------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Feb 3 22:33:05 +0000 2007 ------- Hi, Note markers (i.e. the small yellow boxes indicating there is a note) in imported Word documents are not (or at least not always) displayed unless the option "Non-printing characters (Ctrl+F10)" is checked. As non-printing characters in general can cause a document to be come cluttered, it would be very useful if one could select note markers to be displayed independently of non-printing characters. This for instance is the case in Word 97. One could of course specify that only notes are to be displayed as non-printing characters under "Tools | Options | OpenOffice.org Writer | Formatting Aids | Display of", but that would make the option of displaying non-printing characters in general to be pretty much useless. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
