I'm told that if opened in Microsoft's Powerpoint the document has no problems, and as the document was originated in Powerpoint the author is going to argue that this document is not broken, and he won't give me a new one. I did confirm that the graphic itself is fine actually - select the graphic in OOo and right click and choose "Save graphic" and save it as a WMF, then open Windows Explorer and choose to view it in "Windows Fax and Image Viewer" (i.e. double-click on it in Explorer) then you can see it in all its glory. (If you save it as EMF, that doesn't work, however). I only tried that with one of the images so far. Does that help any?
