------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Feb 10 13:45:31 +0000 2007 ------- This problem occurs using OO.o from Ubuntu Dapper. This probably is a UI issue. Steps to reproduce: 1. In OO.o Calc, open some UTF8 CSV file with umlauts in it and set charset to utf8 in the import dialog. 2. Close the document. 3. Open the UTF8 document again. The charset is still set to utf8. Don't change it. 4. Look at the umlauts: They're scrambled (like UTF8 umlauts displayed as ISO8859-1). 5. CLose the document. 6. Open the UTF8 document again. Set the charset drop-down first to some other charset (eg. ISO8859-1), then again to UTF8. 7. Look at the umlauts: Now they're displayed okay again. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
