------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Feb 19 18:29:50 +0000 2007 ------- Currently If i go into writer, File->Templates I have the options of Save, Organize, Edit, Address Book Source What about a Template -> New that leads into a template designer system, wherein the interface is more orientated towards template design rather than plain writing, there are several differentiating factors which I can think of that could mean that creating templates should be thought of as a different context to normal document writing. 1: Image hotspots, areas where the image layout is already prepared and you just insert it in, like in the Apple iLife suite (I think). 2: Text Hotspots, likewise but with text and text formatting. 3:Different controls are important, in the context of the template creation styles and page formatting take precedence to simple text formatting and other such controls. Meaning different default control sets and the configuration for the layout of the template designer being seperate from the configuration for plain writer. There's more reasons but i'll post them later --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
