------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Feb 21 09:37:26 +0000 2007 ------- I'm running OOo 2.2.0rc1 (Build 9119) on WinXP. Effect is the same in earlier versions. After configuring the Java environment settings, the settings get immediately lost when a customized user installation directory is used. How to reproduce the bug: 1. Install OOo in "C:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 2.2", but don't run yet 2. Edit "C:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 2.2\program\bootstrap.ini" 3. Change value "User Installation" e.g. to "D:\OpenOffice.org2" 4. Startup OOo Writer 5. select Menu Tools - Options - OpenOffice.org - Java 6. select "use a Java runtime environment" 7. choose Java, e.g. in "C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_09\bin" 8. selected version is now correctly shown in dialog 9. leave dialog with ok 10. select Menu Tools - Options - OpenOffice.org - Java again 11. Java settings are gone --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
