On Windows we get the Name out of the keyboard driver. On Linux the string is
either retrieved from the XInput extension or if it is not present it is taken
from some source code in VCL.
We can change the string in our source but most probably that won't change
anything for the user. Philipp, please take over.
@pescetti: can you test on Windows how other programs work?
