It works correct, but you have to know how it works: Nearly every draw object has got a text element. For simple draw objects like a rectangle you double click onto the object. Then you get a writing cursor in the middle and you can write some text. The menu entry 'Format -> Text' opens an dialog, in which you can determine the position of the text element relative to the boundary of the draw object. An OLE-object has got such a text element too. But you cannot use double click to enter text, because a double click will open the connected program of the OLE. But you must use the keyboard shortcut F2 in those cases. F2 works in all cases, to edit this text element. First click on the object so that it gets green handles and than use F2.
