Still wondering if there is any facility around that takes on orders for
developing such extensions? - This issue is "NEW" since 6 years by now...

Actually this feature should also be available in the "web layout" in respect to
the "print layout" (rather should be flexible or fixed border layout" BTW).
Specifying multiple columns for display or a combination view with different
magnifications is usable independently of the actual formatting style.
Right now the OO-writer interface looks like stuck in the last millennium.

What is actually the difference between Mozilla Firefox and OO in terms of
architecture? Why are loads of small, medium and big enhancements
(add-ons/extensions) available? - Is the software architecture of Mozilla
Firefox so much more programmer friendly?
