------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Feb 24 17:45:58 +0000 2007 ------- When I create a document containing a letter and an envelope, the letter does not print correctly. The letter text is cut off horizontally at approximately the height of the envelope and vertically at approximately the width of the envelope. (printer is HP Laserjet 4L, served by Linux server using CUPS) (similar results were obtained using a network-attached Brother MFC-8860DN printer with a native Windows driver) (default document size is Letter) Steps to reproduce: 0) select menu New/Text Document 1) write 1 page letter 2) select menu Format/Envelope 3) select Printer tab 4) select far right orientation icon 5) click "Setup..." button 6) in "Printer Setup" dialog, click "Properties..." button 7) select source "Manual Paper Feed" 8) click OK twice to return to the "Envelope" dialog 9) Click Format tab 10) Select size: "Env. 10" 11) Click Envelope tab 12) Paste addressee and sender information 13) Click Insert button 14) insert form into printer's Manual Paper Feed 15) select menu File/Print 16) Click OK The envelope prints. The printer indicates it is waiting for another form to be fed into the Manual Paper Feed. 17) insert form into printer's Manual Paper Feed The letter is printed with the text chopped on the side and bottom as described above. Two apparently related issues: - OOo inappropriately selected the Manual Paper Feed for the letter page, although nothing in the configuration indicates this source should have been used. (If I skip the envelope-related steps above, the printer will feed the document from the Paper Cassette.) - If I attempt to print only page 2 (the letter), and specify the Paper Cassette in the printer properties, 1) The Paper Cassette selection has an alert icon next to it, and 2) I receive an error stating that the settings of "Envelope #10" and "Paper Cassette" are incompatible. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
