------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Feb 25 16:42:29 +0000 2007 ------- ArchLinux x86_64 from source without ooo-build: until OOo 2.1.0 the about box was fine reporting ArchLinux as vendor and the right version number. now notice the missing vendor and the wrong verion it reports: http://home.arcor.de/a.radke/tmp/OOo/broken_about.png This only happens on our x86_64 builds. i686 is reported to be ok. We had used that patch: http://cvs.gnome.org/viewcvs/ooo-build/patches/src680/intros-config_office.diff?rev=1.4&sortby=file&view=log and tried also without it now. These are the switches with try to give the build - i have played a lot with them without success: # Set OOO_VENDOR in build environment export OOO_VENDOR="ArchLinux" # #FIXME: this is taken from fedora but didn't work :( # #Set the "This product has been created by..." in Help->About # unset USERNAME # export USER="ArchLinux" and ./configure --with-vendor="ArchLinux" --with-build-version="${pkgver} ArchLinux build-${pkgrel}"\ Can anybody confirm that for OOF680_m9 builds?
