I found that the dialog Tools/Options... was broken with this localization, see the attached screenshot. The screenshot shows that only the first item of the "+ OpenOffice.org" itemized list is displayed. It is because it is localized but the next item isn't. It helped to hack the related svx/source/dialog/localize.sdf and add there English strings for the missing string definitions, see the second screenshot and the patch. Hmm, this behavior is quite dangerous.
