------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Mar 4 17:11:38 +0000 2007 ------- Hi guys! It's really strange that "custom error bars" feature still has not been implemented in OO. I am a system administrator in a big scientific institution and I can say that for now absence of this feature for us seems to be THE ONLY major factor hindering transfer from MS Office to OO. Using Calc without this feature in a scientific setting isn't worth using Calc at all, because, as opposed to common office tasks, research calculations almost always should result in "barred" charts with custom error bars (by the way, most scientific journals just will not accept an article if your chart doesn't have them). As it's been stated here already, scientific society is one of the most useful and perspective fields for spreading and implementation of OO. Well, I understand that the current "list of wishes" for Calc's improvements is quite big, but the discussed feature should be, of course, placed to the beginning of it. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
