Then I created a Writer doc with Draw OLE object myself. Conversion (mind Tools|Options|Load-save|MsOffice !) did work. However ... when I added a caption to the object, the conversion failed. So the problem lies more in that direction. I didn't do any further tests (wrt type of frame, for example).
