Meanwhile, are you ok to fully document the settings in each of the pages of the PG ODBC driver you're using? I'm thinking that screenshots will save typing, because from memory there's quite a few options... :-/ In the morning, we'll compares versions and options and stuff, and that might help with the OID problem you're getting.
