------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Mar 7 23:49:10 +0000 2007 ------- Regarding: "Additional comments from dnaber Wed Oct 19 20:21:03 +0000 2005 ------- Closing, as this is not the task of a spell checker. " I have to respectfully disagree with the closing of this issue based on that... 1) WordPerfect, for example, catches duplicate words as part of a spell check function. 2) Based on my understanding of a few languages, duplicate words are rarely allowed in any (Germanic/Romantic) language, and so their detection does not depend on any other language specific rules. 3) Duplicate word detection is a rather simple program function and is no different than all the other options that already exist in Writer's "Auto Correct Options" such as correcting two initial caps, or ignoring double spaces. As such, I have created a new issue #75219 with this enhancement request. I suppose if someone is going to dismiss it and just close it again, oh well. At least I tried :) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
