------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Mar 8 07:19:33 +0000 2007 ------- Although I dont use anymore MS Office, I saw one colleague to use windows split in MS Office. What is Window Split? In your current document, you can go: Menu: Window->Split, and the Word give you the opportunity to place a line to a horizontal position of your text. Then when you click, the documents screen is split to 2 screens. In each screen you can have acceess to a different position of the same document, making it very handly when you write big documents and need to do references. OpenOffice 2.1 (at least) doesnt have that usefull feature. The only way to do it is to make a new window and then orgnize horizontal both the 2 document windows. But the disadvantage is that the [windows title bars and toolbars], are doubled that way, taking almost the 1/3 of the vertical space of the screen. With [windows split] factionality, there only enters one line, having enough vertical space to work within the 2 screens. It would be good OpenOffice later versions to have that feature :) Ps. I will not supprised if you somehow have add it, but I dont know how (so please if you do have it tell me how to do it) - because you always are one step in frond of my needs! ;) Thank you :) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
