------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Mar 9 17:51:39 +0000 2007 ------- Since it is hard/longish to explain in words, I made a screencast demonstrating the problem: http://muenchen-surf.de/lohmaier/screencasts/hsqldb_autoincrement.html The problem is that when you enter data in a table with autoincrement, then after you leave the datarow, your newly added entries are overriden with the values from the first row of the table. This appears to only happen, when you change the ID/primary key column to autoincrement after the table with the non-autoincrement primary key has already been saved. To reproduce: 1) Create new table in design wizard. 2) Enter some name for the fields, hit save. 3) OOo asks whether it should create a primary key → answer with "yes" 4) highlight the ID-column that was added and modify it to be an auto-increment 5) hit save 6) OOo will complain that it cannot modify the field and offers to delete the entry and append it to the table instead → let OOo do it 7) close the design view and open the table for editing 8) Enter some random values → Note that all rows are changed to the first one after leaving the row Refreshing the data or closing & reloading shows the entered values --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
