The various distributors use different names for the wrappers that are installed
below /usr/bin/. For example, the ooo-build based packages installs:

    /usr/bin/ooffice.

You (Sun) change the wrapper name with each minor version, for example:

    /usr/bin/openoffice.org-2.1
    /usr/bin/openoffice.org2.2

Well, the other distributors often use also another desktop files. The main
problem is with <ooo-prefix>/share/xdg/qstart.desktop. It is linked to
~/.config/autostart/qstart.desktop when the checkbox
"Tools/Options.../OpenOffice.org/Memory/Enable systray quickstarter" is enabled.

The quickstarter applet is not started when the qstart.desktop includes wrong
wrapper name.

I'll attach a patch that allows to redefine the wrapper name by a new configure
option --with-unix-wrapper.

I could create a CWS for it if the change is acceptable for you. Note that it is
also a good step to share the desktop files with others.
