------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Mar 14 06:36:31 +0000 2007 ------- Microsoft Windows XP Home, Chinese Traditionas chars. OpenOffice Writer, 2.0.1. Note that because of bug 71849 (which affects Writer, Excel, and Impress), which saves superbig files, I don't use 2.0.4 or 2.1. 1. Open Writer. 2. Go to "Table -> Insert -> Row". The menu item says "Insert <lie4> (列)". 3. In the dialog box, it says "Insert <hang2> (行)". 4. A natural line of text in the direction of writing is called <hang2> (行). So the use of <hang2> is correct. Here <hang2> means a horizontal line (row), instead of a vertical line (column). If you are editing a horizontally written piece of Chinese text, then <hang2> would be vertical. 5. Similar problems may happen to elsewhere in the UI. And it may happen to Calc or Impress too.
