------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Mar 15 16:29:15 +0000 2007 ------- I have drawings made with Draw versions 2.0 - 2.1 under Windows 2000. When opening one of these under Linux Draw, the font Arial with regular weight is zero sized both inthe drawing and in the user interface (menus, dropdown lists, save dialog). An example odg-file can be found here: http://www.saunalahti.fi/pirisisi/test/arial_fault.odg All other fonts show just fine, even Arial's other weights. And even Arial Regular works just fine in a new document made under Linux, example: http://www.saunalahti.fi/pirisisi/test/arial_OK.odg I can reproduce the problem with the same file on two different PCs using two different distributions. A screen capture from OpenSuse 10.2 with only Arial Black text 'MATERIAALI' showing (the logo is a jpeg picture): http://www.saunalahti.fi/pirisisi/test/arialfault_opensuse.png A screen capture from Sabayon Linux 3.26, note the empty line instead of the word 'Arial' above the Arial Black in the fonts dropdown list: http://www.saunalahti.fi/pirisisi/test/valokuva1.png However, the problem is not reproduceable with the first PC when booting from Knoppix 4.0.2 live DVD. Screen capture with all text showing: http://www.saunalahti.fi/pirisisi/test/arialfault_Knoppix4.0.2.png Other notices: * The text is not missing, it is just zero size, changing the font to something else brings the text back into view. If I activate the font tool on a text box containing Arial Regular and press Ctrl-A to select all of the text, the selection's width stays zero. With any other font the width equals the text width. * If I open both the arial_fault and arial_OK files at the same time, Arial Regular disappears from both. Closing arial_fault does not return Arial into view, only restarting the OpenOffice does. * With OpenSuse 10.2, I tried Suse's OOo 2.04, updated it to 2.0.10 with YaST, uninstalled and installed 2.1 from Openoffice.org web site. All failed the same way. With Sabayon, I used OOo 2.0.4. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
