Hi,
the function list is for easy inserting of functions into the spreadsheet and
therefore located exactly at the correct position.
To get rid of it, you can switch it off by simply choosing function list from
the insert menu again or clicking on one of the edges of this form and drag it
to un-dock it. After that you can press the closer as you can always do with
undocked controls.
but let's requirements decide.
