Seems to me I got the real problem after lost of trying. :) When installing
the drivers according to the Xerox manual by running ./install.sh the gui
installer for some reason hangs at 97% complete.

I then tried to run all the shell scripts separately and it seems to have
solved the problem. I can now open and save files in OO 2.1 after installing
it this way.

There must be some kind of problem with the automatic installer. I am not
clued up enough in programming to sort it out.

Will try to get my Xerox agent to take it up.

There are two driver files that can be downloaded.

1. pe120_220_install.tar.gz
2. pe120.tar.gz

The second installer file does not work at all. The scripts are running and a
printer is added, but does not print correctly.

I consider the issue solved and not a OO concern.
