Default (US English, "." as decimal separator) - I see "12345678" as output of "MsgBox CStr(CDbl("1234,5678"))" 2. Italian (Italy) ("," as decimal separator) - I get "1234,5678" as output of the macro. 3. Italian (Italy) ("," as decimal separator) - I get "55,359722222" as output of "MsgBox CStr(CDbl("1234.5678"))" (note dot as decimal separator). dindy, please specify how do I use enviroment variable to pass localle setting to OO macro.
