I gave this some thoughts. There is a problem in the case when the hyperlink is
inserted at the end of a paragraph. In this case Writer must do some strange
tricks to reset the formatting after the inserted link as usually in Writer the
formatting at a given cursor position can be either the one before the cursor or
behind it. If there is nothing behind the cursor we need to play tricks.

We could easily avoid that by another change: add a blank space after each
hyperlink inserted by the hyperlink toolbar. This blank could take the
formatting of the text preceeding the hyperlink. Or even easier: first we insert
the blank and then place the hyperlink before it.

I also think that a blank won't hurt as in most cases the user would add it
manually anyway. In the worst case it can be deleted easily. This solution is
also tempting as it would be comparably easy to implement and so we could do it
pretty soon.

What do you think about that?
