------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Mar 27 14:14:24 +0000 2007 ------- The pdf should be opened in a PDF-viewer application such as Adobe Reader or evince, etc... Those apps provide "document properties" dialog that amongst other things show the embedded/used fonts OOo doesn't store/embedd fonts itself, so looking at the OOo file won't help. And with gucharmap you need to visually compare the appearance of the characters.. But anyway, the pdf-snippet already contains a hint: "Baekmuk Dotum" http://www.wazu.jp/gallery/views/View_BaekmukDotum.html - a korean/japanese-style font, not chinese-style... And to my understanding, doesn't look like a Song-font. Furthermore, it doesn't contain all the characters you have used in the sample (at least not the version of the font I downloaded) That in turn means that not one single font, but multiple different ones are used to render the text, possibly all with different metrics that lead to the problem. So there's at least one other font that breaks the spacings. So solution for you is to install a font that actually contains all the characters. And if you're writing chinese, you should use one that uses chinese-style characters. I'll attach a screenshot demonstrating the situation (plese identify the other font(s) and post them) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
