The crashrep.exe file stays in the memory even after the program exits, whether
or not it crashes. This has caused the system to hang on various occasions when
trying to reboot the system. I tried the application called "Process Explorer"
to force terminate the crashrep.exe program, but it is hooked in some manner in
the memory that is isn't able to be terminated.

I was under the impression that this program was not supposed to start unless
OpenOffice crashed. I see it as this under process explorer:

soffice --> soffice.bin --> crashrep.exe

after closing I see only crashrep.exe still lurking in the memory frequently.
Sometimes I see multiple instances of this application in the memory, and as I
said it tends to hang the system upon reboot.
