------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Apr 3 23:44:29 +0000 2007 ------- Loading the attached file with autospellcheck (ASC) on leads to a crash of OOo Writer with 100% cpu. Activating ASC after loading the file does the same, as does running a manual spellcheck (the crash occurs after checking through the document to a certain point). The crash is reproducible on both Linux and Windows, although the exact crashing behavior is slightly different. Under Windows, you may have to page down a few pages before experiencing the crash. On Linux, as soon as ASC processes the document, Writer crashes. By report, OOo 1.1 on Windows does not crash with this file. This is part of a much larger assembly source file, which has been trimmed down to the part that consistently causes a crash on both Windows and Linux. The offending lines seem to be the hex dump data that look like this: ;> :100000000128000053FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF0678 ;> :100010002812FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFB4 ... If the lines are removed, or spaces added to them, then the crash does not occur. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
