Observation/workaround relevant to immediate post installation of version 2.2

I recently upgraded to 000 v2.2. (I currently have 1.1.0, 2.0.4 and 2.2
installed, each having the default, yet individually defined directories created
in "c:\Program Files".

I noted that upon clicking quickstarter in the tray, that an error dialog box
mentioned that it could not find directory "C:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org
2\share\samples\en-US". In fact that directory does NOT exist.

The ooo 2.0 installation in "Program Files" was altered by the 2.2 installation
(as evidenced byt the alterd date stamps on the 2.0 directories, to be the date
of the 2.2 installation).

In 2.0 there is a share directory, but no share/samples or
share/samples/en-US.

RCLicked the quickstarter in the tray. and started up 2.2 writer. I again tried
the above, but this time, the templates directory appeared. I noted that there
is NO content in the "Program Files/...2.2/share/samples/en-US" dir.

The initial error reported above does not appear again.

It is noteworthy that I can stil invoke V1.1 calc, but although I get a startup
screen for 1.1 writer, the program never loads, and does not show up in the
"WinXP task manager window" as a viable process...

Both issues are important for backwards compatibility.
