This header triggers sending return receipts to the author of the mail. I see two arguments for the need: 1) It's a privacy issue. Spammers could use this to collect mail addresses of OOo mailing list users. 2) It's annoying. Personally I read quite a lot of mailing list and the pop-up of a MsgBox asking to notify the sender disturbs fast progress to navigate through a lot of mails significantly. Especially if it happens quite often.
