------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Apr 22 19:52:28 +0000 2007 ------- Im their infinite marketing wisdom, microsoft had decided that in a Word document there shall be 2 (two) kinds of background colours for characters (selected text) 1. select text and use the highlighter tool on you suggested (limited colours) 2. select text and try format > Borders & shading > tab shading These two separated things are united in writer 1. select text and try format > character > tab backround You're right that the highlight thingy is not doing it's trick. BUT These yellow backgrouds can be removed by using the borders & shading menu in Word WORKSFORME --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
