------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Apr 24 08:23:26 +0000 2007 ------- In a laptop computer, when I go to standby mode, the operating system shows "Going to standby mode" pop-up window, but does not send the laptop to sleep. When that happens, I close all OpenOffice programs to ensure standby mode. Sometimes I have to kill the OpenOffice process manually before the laptop goes to sleep. The problem mostly occurs only after the SECOND standby mode; the first attempt to go to standby mode is usually without any need to close OOo. Nothing of the sort happens with any other application. The issue has been there in versions 2.0, 2.1, and 2.2. The problem pertains at least to Impress and Calc; my impression is it has something to do with the resident part of OOo. Thanks a lot.
