First I think my comment yesterday re. the config setting is slighly incorrect,
setting the ShowBasic to true will NOT hide the scripting framework stuff, the
settings are NOT afaics mutually exclusive, sorry if that caused confusion.
>Why do we have two configuration settings? If I understood correctly the
>setting
I guess you mean the ShowBasic and the ShowSF settings right? so, I would say
that these settings can be deleted, they are not 'really' used. Their purpose
was purely to allow incremental developement of the scripting framework bits (
while at the same time preserving the default behavior ). e.g. the reason why
there is a seperate flag for basic (ShowBasic) I guess was because initially
basic was not part of the scripting framework ( and basic scripts needed to be
shown ) and later there was 'experimental' support for basic and later proper
support etc.
>should be "UseScriptingFrameworkForAccessingBasic". It should be *one* setting
>and its value should be true, right?
Well I hope the explanation above clarifies that ( I hope ), of course the
caveat here is that I have an extreemly bad memory, the mists of time etc.....
