------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Apr 29 16:00:24 +0000 2007 ------- If one file, present on a samba share is accessed by more than one user (cifs client) at once the second user is presented with a filter selection dialog. Choosing the correct filter throws an error "test2.odt is corrupt and therefore cannot be opened. Should OpenOffice repair the file?". The repair then fails. Openoffice should better distinguish unreadable files and locked files, of if not possible at least show a warning window saying that "the file maybe locked by other user or unreadable" The filter selection dialog is very misleading to end users and suggests the file is somehow damaged, when that's not the case. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
