------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Apr 30 14:36:44 +0000 2007 ------- OO fails to correctly import .doc files containing fields of the Endnote program. Oo imports these fields, if the document is saved as an rtf-file in MS Word. However, some formatting is then lost. The problem arises, when one tries to open .doc files created with the help of Endnote 9. All citations and the reference list are deleted. This makes Oo unusable in the field of Biomedical Science, since the market share of Endnote is high and shared working on documents is mandatory. To fix this bug, OO does not have to support Endnote. It only has to import endnote fields from .doc files in the same way as from .rtf files. This issue is duplicate to the closed issue 57938. 57938 was closed, because it was erroneously regarded a duplicate of issue 44087. However, 44087 is a completely different issue. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
