Tested Build:
Download OOo_2.2.0_LinuxIntel_install_wJRE_en-US.tar.gz package from:
http://openoffice.bouncer.osuosl.org/?product=OpenOffice.org&os=linuxintelwjre&lang=en-US&version=2.2.0

Problem -
In OpenOffice 2.0 Writer of SUSE Linux 10.1 the Special Character window shows
strange scroll behaviour.

This behaviour occurs when pressing and holding the mousepointer over the
scrollbox of the vertical scroll field, then moving the scrollbox.

Moving the scrollbox this way does not make the characterfield at the left move
with the movement. Only when the mouse is released the field changes to match
the result of the scrollbox movement.

As a user I expect the field to move instantly with the movement of the
scrollbox. I expect this for several reasons.
- Scrolling is done to find a character by view, not just scrolling. The
current way makes searching while viewing uneasy and inaccurate.
- Scrolling without direct view on the result of the action contradicts the
purpose of scrolling with the scrollbox.

Further, to me the current functioning of delayed action has no purpose and is
needless time consuming.
